CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College women's golf will travel to Las Cruces, N.M. to take part in the Iconic Classic from Oct. 9-11.
The tournament will be held at the New Mexico State Golf Course. Highlighted by beautiful scenery, the 18-hole layout is framed by the majestic Organ Mountains to the east and the picturesque Mesilla Valley to the west. University planning for the course began in 1958. Floyd Farley of Oklahoma City, a designer of more than 50 courses, was hired as the architect for the project. The construction began on March 1, 1961.
