CHESTNUT HILL, MASS – Boston College lost 8-4 and 7-3 respectively in games one and two of the three game series to the No. 5 ranked Clemson in Friday's doubleheader. BC is now 16-16 on the season and 1-7 in ACC play while the Tigers remain red hot, improving their record to 35-1 overall and 11-0 in the conference. They also have now won 21 straight games
In game one of the day, Clemson was able to get out to an early 2-0 lead but Senior Maddy Carpe responded in the bottom of the second inning with a two run homer to tie up the game.
