CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.- The Boston College volleyball team swept Rhode Island, 3-0, at home Tuesday evening. The Eagles improved to 7-3, while the Rams dropped to 1-9. BC won in straight sets by scores of 25-18, 25-15, and 25-12.
The Rams came out strong, in set one exchanging the lead three times before BC claimed the lead at the five all mark by a sophomore Grace Milliken kill. Finishing set one 25-18.
Set two was all Boston College, taking a controlling lead. The Eagles led by as much as 20-10, senior Alayna Crabtree led the set with four kills.
