STORRS, CT– Boston College 7-9 to UConn on Tuesday night. Eagles go to 15-11 on the season and the Huskies improve to 15-8.
UConn started the game on fire on offense, they had a five run inning in the second and then scored another in the third to go up 6-0. But BC didn't quit, Freshman Meg Schouten jacked a three run homer in the fourth to give the Eagles life, then fellow Freshman Zoe Hines on the very next at bat after Schouten hit a home run of her own, which was the first of her career.
