BC Bounces Back to Defeat Holy Cross

BRIGHTON, Mass. – The Boston College baseball team picked up a 13-2 win over Holy Cross at the Harrington Athletics Village on Tuesday night. The Eagles improved to 17-21, while the Crusaders dropped to 8-13.

BC scored in the first and in five of the first six innings of the game; building a 10-1 lead after the fifth and 13-1 lead after the sixth. Junior right-hander Joe Mancini (Fairfield, Conn.) started and went two innings with one run against on four this and two walks with two strikeouts. His second strikeout came to strand the bases loaded in the second.
