BC and BU Play to First Scoreless Tie in Series History

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College and Boston University have squared off in men's hockey for over 100 years, but Saturday night was the first-ever scoreless tie between the archrivals in the 279th Battle of Comm Ave at Kelley Rink.

The Eagles (4-6-2) took three out of four points from the weekend after a 4-1 victory at Agganis Arena on Friday night. BC moved to 4-1-2 in Hockey East play heading into a pair of games against UConn to close the first half next week.

The Terriers pushed their record to 4-7-2 (4-4-2 HEA).

Jake Oettinger (42 saves) and (26 saves) combined to stop all 68 shots they faced as Woll secured his fourth career shutout.
