Brooke Griffin, a second year assistant coach for Boston College’s women’s lacrosse team, was named to the U.S. Women's National Team earlier today. She will compete with Team USA in the 2017 Federation of International Women's World Cup.
Griffin joined BC last season after playing at University of Maryland for 4 seasons. She won the 2014 and 2015 NCAA Championships with Maryland as an attack and is 5th in program history in career goals with 197.
Griffin plans to continue coaching at BC as she trains for the World Cup, hoping to help the Eagles reach their 5th straight NCAA Tournament appearance.
