CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Boston College volleyball's Anna Murphy has been named the ACC Defensive Player of the Week for Sep. 18 announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon. The award marks the first of Murphy's career and the first by an Eagle since 2021.
Murphy had double digit digs in all five of the matches over the past week. Leading all matches in overall digs. Murphy averaged 4.67 digs per set, leading the ACC.
The Eagles went 5-0 this past week all in three sets. The Eagles are on a nine-match win streak, dominating 27 consecutive sets.
