CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College junior defensive lineman Zach Allen (football) and graduate outside hitter Lynn Braakhuis (volleyball) have been named Nissan Eagles of the Week for their performances last week.
The ACC Defensive Lineman of the Week this week, Allen had one of the best games a defensive end has had in BC history in Saturday's 23-10 loss to No. 16 Virginia Tech. Allen finished with a game-high and career-high 14 tackles. He tied for the team-lead with three tackles for loss, had one sack and also finished with a QB hurry.
