SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Boston College rallied on Friday afternoon for its first-ever road victory over ACC rival Notre Dame at the Eck Tennis Pavilion. Freshman Marice Aguiar won the clinching match at No. 4 singles as the Eagles beat the Fighting Irish by a score of 4-3.
The win brings the Eagles' record to 2-1 overall and 1-1 in the ACC, while Notre Dame fell to 7-4 (0-1 ACC).
"I'm so proud of our team, we competed really well today," said head coach Nigel Bentley. "It's very difficult to win on the road.
