CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Director of Athletics Brad Bates has announced that he will step down at the end of the academic year to join Collegiate Sports Associates (CSA) of Chapel Hill, N.C., one of the nation's leaders in executive search and consulting for intercollegiate athletics.
He will serve as vice president at CSA, where he will lead the agency's consulting division.
Bates has served as director of athletics at Boston College since 2012. During that time, the University completed an assessment of its intercollegiate and intramural sports and finalized a strategic plan for BC Athletics in 2016 that calls for more than $200 million in new athletics facilities.
