The news is coming out non-stop this evening about college sports updates with a potential effect on Boston College Athletics. The latest comes to us from the Atlantic Coast Conference:
The rest of the ACC men’s basketball tournament will be played without fans, and “only essential tournament personnel, limited school administrators and student-athlete guests, broadcast television, and credentialed media members” will be allowed into the arena. That follows the lead of the NCAA, who is doing the same for all national tournament events over the coming weeks.
Boston College Men’s Basketball is currently in the beginning of the second half against Notre Dame in BC’s first round game, though BC is down by double digits and would not advance in the tournament anyway without mounting a comeback.
