Last Friday night Boston College and Boston University men’s hockey alumni joined together to compete in the 3rd annual Comm Ave Charity Classic. The event, which was created by BC hockey alums Pat Mullane, Andrew Orpik, and Justin Murphy, raises money for Compassionate Care ALS and the Travis Roy Foundation.
Between ticket sales, auctions, raffles, and donations, this year’s event raised $64,481 total, the largest amount yet. This brings the 3 year total to $165,000 raised.
The series now stands at 2-1 in favor of BU, with the Terriers earning an 8-6 victory last night.
