CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College Football returned to action today, taking the field early on a hot Saturday morning for day one of preseason training camp under new head coach Bill O’Brien. Quarterback Thomas Castellanos returns for his second year under center for the Eagles, ready to take a leap with a full offseason under his belt this time around. Wide receiver Lewis Bond returns as one of his favorite targets, and running back Kye Robichaux will accompany him in the backfield once again.
The defensive line returns a lot of veteran experience, led by edge rusher Donovan Ezeiruaku with defensive tackle Cam Horsely anchoring the middle of the unit.
