The Eagles had their fair share of incredible games this year, but our pick for this season’s game of the year was Women’s Lacrosse’s NCAA Championship Game, which was nominated alongside the Men’s Hockey East Championship.
A thrilling game from start to finish, the Eagles captured their second national title in four years against Northwestern, the team that defeated them in the 2023 title game.
After going down 6-0 in the first quarter, the Eagles began their comeback. Emma LoPinto got things started with a stunning behind-the-back goal. Kayla Martello scored four goals in the second quarter and Andrea Reynolds added another, and the Eagles went into halftime only down two goals.
