Zach Werenski (Michigan) was named captain of the 2016 Junior team today. White will be joined by fellow alternate captains Louie Belpedio (Miami Redhawks) and Auston Matthews (ZSC Lions). Matthews will serve as alternate for home games, while White will get the A for away games. The USA plays their first game on December 26 against Canada. The game will air on the NHL Network.
