CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College will now have three members from Team Finland skating with the maroon and gold after Aapeli Rasanen rounds out the remaining forwards for the 2017-18 recruiting class.
Rasanen, a native of Tampere, Finland, is the same hometown as the Mattila twins, Julius and Jesper. In fact, Rasanen joined the Mattilas at World Juniors in Canada this past year as a member of Team Finland. At World Juniors, Rasanen finished with the top faceoff percentage in the tournament (66.97 percent).
As a whole in 2016-17, the Fin logged 25 points (7-18-25) for the Sioux City Musketeers and doled out an assist in the playoffs.
