CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The top-ranked Boston College lacrosse team begins its 2021 title defense at home against #4 Northwestern on Saturday, Feb. 12 at noon inside Fish Field House. The game will be shown on ACCNX and will be closed to the public.

Northwestern enters 2022 as the preseason #4 team after its 15-1 season and only loss coming in the final four to Syracuse. Offensively, their top returning scorer is Lauren Gilbert, who had 66 goals and nine assists last season. Tewaaraton finalist Izzy Scane, who had 124 points on 98 goals and 26 assists, has announced she is out for 2022 with a knee injury.
