Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big story line. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump.
You probably saw this a few days ago, where basketball non-expert Cris Carter drove his hot-take wagon right over Gordon Hayward.
Yesterday, writer Shane Rhodes set the record straight:
During the 2016-17 season, Hayward was one of just a dozen players to average at least 21 points, five rebounds and three assists. The other 11? James Harden, Jimmy Butler, Kawhi Leonard, Russell Westbrook, LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kevin Durant, DeMar DeRozan, Blake Griffin, DeMarcus Cousins and Paul George.
