Since selected with the third pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, Jaylen Brown has shown a lot to be excited about for the Boston Celtics.
He’s exhibited jaw-dropping athleticism while a member of the regular rotation. His defensive prowess and late-game shooting talents has him on the court in crucial moments. Mix that with the 10-2 record Boston posted while Brown started for an injured Avery Bradley, and this guy has given off the impression that he might become a star player very soon.
But while all of this is so exciting for Celtics fans, it doesn’t guarantee anything for the future, which is something Jeff Green proved just a few years ago.
