Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics finally reached the summit and captured the team’s sought-after 18th championship in June.
But don’t expect Brown and the rest of Boston’s roster to rest on their laurels entering the 2024-25 season.
Despite only losing three playoff games as part of a dominant title run, Brown and the 2024-25 Celtics plan on operating with a short memory as part of their anticipated championship defense.
“Last year is over, to be honest,” Brown told NBC Sports Bay Area’s Monte Poole. “We celebrated, we had a good time, it’s been an awesome summer — I’ve been having a great summer, by the way — but it’s over with, and now it’s back to work.
