The Boston Celtics suffered a heartbreaking 92-91 loss to the Washington Wizards in game 6 of the Eastern Conference semifinals Friday night. The culprit? Wizards point guard John Wall, whose three-pointer over the outstretched arm of Celtics shooting guard Avery Bradley with 3.5 seconds left sent the crowd at the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. into hysterics.
After scoring only 3 points in the first half, Wall stepped his game up in the second half, finishing with 26 points and 8 assists.
The Celtics had one last chance to win the game, after Wizards forward Kelly Oubre fouled Celtics forward Kelly Olynyk, giving Boston an inbounds pass with 1.
