BOSTON - Warriors guard Klay Thompson is listed as questionable for Friday's game against the Boston Celtics because of a sprained right ankle, but it appears as if the prognosis is good.
Thompson, after not participating in practice Wednesday, took part in a spot-up shooting drill and said afterward that the sprain suffered in the 23-0 Warriors' win at Indiana was "very mild."
"We're obviously going to be cautious with it," Warriors interim head coach Luke Walton said. "If there's any doubt about it, then we'll rest him. The training staff seemed pleasantly surprised by how it looked this morning, and he said it feels pretty good.
