Jayson Tatum might not be playing with the Celtics’ Summer League team, but he’s still going toe-to-toe with some of the NBA’s best young talent during the offseason.
The 20-year-old is coming off a strong rookie season in which he became a focal point of the Celtics’ playoff offense. Based on a newly released video from trainer Drew Hanlen’s company, Pure Sweat Basketball, Tatum is looking to build on his NBA debut by practicing against elite competition.
Among other players shown in the day-in-the-life video of Hanlen’s busy training schedule (including fellow Celtic Semi Ojeleye), Tatum is seen squaring off against Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers and Mohamed Bamba of the Orlando Magic.
