Isaiah Thomas is the Boston Celtics‘ point guard for the foreseeable future. They also drafted both Marcus Smart and Terry Rozier in the past two drafts, so drafting another guard in 2016 would seem ridiculous. With that being said, Danny Ainge has not turned away from continuously drafting guards over the past three drafts and if the Brooklyn Nets‘ pick falls, a point guard may be the best available player.
The Celtics aren’t in need of another point guard, however, with eight picks, you never know what could happen.
