The center position is arguably the deepest position in the draft and hardest to rank. With that being said, it’s full of international prospects who have a lot of upside but also have serious flaws in their games.
There may be a couple of centers drafted in the lottery this year – if you count the big men who can play both the four and five. It’s not a top-heavy center class, although, a lot of teams will leave the draft with a solid second round selection.
The Boston Celtics are surely loving the center class this season as it allows them to sign a top-tier free agent and develop a young player behind them.
