Today, July 15th is the 74th birthday of former Boston Celtic combo forward Bill Dinwiddie, whose greatest claim to fame with the team is being part of the deal that sent Celtics legend Bob Cousy to the Cincinnati Royals (which are now the Sacramento Kings). In his lone season in Boston, Dinwiddie appeared in just 61 games (he missed the entire preceding season due to a knee injury) logging 4.9 points and 3.4 rebounds per game before being traded to the Milwaukee Bucks for a pick that would be used on Wally Wright, a player who did not make the regular season roster.
