Marcus Smart is one of the few, if not only, Celtics to be thought of as untouchable regarding trade rumors coming into the offseason. The team was reportedly very high on his first season's production, and even more so on his potential second year production.
Then rumors started to swirl about Smart being dealt to Philly in a package for Nerlens Noel and the number 3 pick. That rumor has been denied by the Celtics, but still gave the impression that Smart is now available.
The Boston Globe's Adam Himmelsbach tweeted earlier that his sources say for a team to lure Smart, their offer would have to blow away the Celtics.
