Throwback: Danny Ainge had a lot of sock going on

Here's the Boston Celtics' man in charge looking in charge on the court back in ... hmm, judging by the amount of man-thigh and feathered hair I'd have to guess the late 80's.

Shorts withstanding, what really catches my attention here are Danny Ainge's socks. What's going on down there? Where's all that sock even coming from? Are the tongues of his shoes really tucked under his socks or is he just storing his wallet in there?
