If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. In Thomas Robinson’s case, it might be “try, try, try, try, try, try again.” After being claimed off waivers last weekend by the Maine Red Claws, Robinson hopes that his stint in the G-League clears a path for an NBA return with the Celtics.
The Sacramento Kings made Robinson the 5th overall pick back in 2012, but the former Kansas Jayhawk struggled to find a home. In five seasons in the NBA, he also made stops in Houston, Portland, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, and Los Angeles.
