Danny Ainge’s recent words give credence to the idea that the Boston Celtics were done making changes to the roster when they gave Javonte Green the final roster spot in the preseason.
“There’s nothing on the buyout market that we’re interested in doing right now,” Ainge said on 98.5 The Sports Hub’s “Toucher & Rich” show. “But we’re going to continue to evaluate that all the way up until March 1.”
Evaluate he must, but given the inactivity at the recent deadline, it seems unlikely that anything will happen. He is content with the strength of his best five and the big-men and bench depth he has assembled around them.
