CHARLOTTE, N.C. – NBA teams typically loathe playing games on back-to-back nights.
Of course, it’s not the first contest that’s the challenge, but rather the second game, during which fatigue is bound to set in from the night before.
The only way to combat that inevitable exhaustion is with willpower, but to have that collective determination is rare.
The Boston Celtics have arguably the most impressive willpower in the NBA when it comes to playing second games of back to-backs, especially when such contests come on the road.
