SAN ANTONIO — Camille Little scored 13 points, Kelsey Bone had 12 points and 10 rebounds and the Connecticut Sun beat the San Antonio Stars 72-68 on Thursday.
Connecticut scored just two points through the first four-plus minutes of the fourth quarter but scored on three straight possessions, highlighted by Alyssa Thomas's baseline jumper, to take a 65-59 lead with 4:22 remaining.
Kayla McBride sank a 3-pointer with 57 seconds remaining to pull the Stars to 69-67. McBride missed a 3-pointer on San Antonio's next possession and Jasmine Thomas made two free throws to extend Connecticut's lead to 71-67 with 19.
