On his weekly visit with Marc Bertrand and Scott Zolak on 98.5 The Sports Hub, head coach Brad Stevens provided an update on Jayson Tatum’s status and his awaited return to the court:
Tatum was put into the COVID health and safety protocols on Saturday, January 9th. The league mandate states that players with a positive coronavirus test “even if asymptomatic, will not be allowed to exercise for a minimum of 10 days and then must be monitored in individual workouts for an additional two days.” Per Stevens, Tatum will get a workout in today in Boston to begin a measured ramp up for a possible return by the end of the week.
