While the Celtics were well represented with three players on Team USA's 12 man Olympic squad that just brought home the gold, many fans were upset with the treatment that Boston's two star players received. Jaylen Brown was left off the team entirely and bypassed when it came time for a Kawhi Leonard replacement while Jayson Tatum was relegated to 11th man and sat out a few games entirely.
Tatum has said that this experience won't rule him out for the 2028 games taking place in America and now with the news that Steve Kerr is retiring from Team USA, Jayson's odds likely have gone up.
