Ever have a spontaneous thought for which your immediate reaction is “I don't even want to go there?”
Back to back articles on Sullinger apparently giving more than lip service to getting in shape (I occasionally tell people “Of course I'm in shape, it is just a round shape!) and then moving on to a notification about Big Baby “open to signing overseas.” The parallels are too close for my liking. Even if Sully gets in his “best” shape ever, after his contract season, will his motivation lean more toward continued improvement or relax into milking his career until cast aside and finally “being open to signing overseas?
