The Boston Celtics (40-17) host the Cleveland Cavaliers (32-22) at TD Garden for a Sunday matinee match-up, but that is not the biggest story of the day. Paul Pierce, who spent 15 years with the Celtics, is getting his jersey retired tonight, in a post-game celebration on the Garden floor.
Pierce, who was the 2008 NBA Finals MVP, will be celebrated tonight throughout the game in a variety of ways. Pierce has spent his whole weekend in Boston, and was honored last night with a dinner ceremony at Four Seasons Hotel.
