Last week, Adrian Wojnarowski reported that there was significant traction towards expanding NBA rosters. Given the report, and the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, we can assume that this roster expansion is likely to occur.

As explained by Woj, the roster expansion would allow for a third two-way contract slot for each NBA team. Two-way contracts for the 2020-2021 season work a little differently than two-way contracts of previous seasons.
