After being tormented for most of the game by the Johnson clan — Tyler and James — the Celtics got it right on the last possession.
Al Horford blocked Tyler Johnson with 5.9 seconds left in a 112-108 win against Miami at the Garden yesterday, after the Heat guard scored 24 points coming off the bench against a nonplussed Celtics backcourt.
Meanwhile, Miami’s James Johnson, one of the most improved players this season in the NBA, also threw a scare into the Celtics with 20, again off the bench.
The Celtics thus made just enough plays down the stretch to win against the currently eighth-seeded Heat.
