Mike Gorman wouldn’t have missed the Celtics’ 2024 championship parade for anything.
The now-former television voice of the team rode along the celebration route in Boston on one of the many participating duck boats on Friday. Wearing a simple, yet effective, white t-shirt with “BOSTON” written in green lettering across his chest, the recent retiree smiled and waved to over a million elated Celtics fans from TD Garden to the Hynes Convention Center.
Gorman retired from his broadcasting role following the end of the Celtics’ illustrious postseason run, but that didn’t mean he would skip out on attending the NBA champs’ festivities.
