Going undrafted in the 2021 draft, Hauser decided to choose Boston over the likes of the Heat and was signed to a two-way deal. Hauser spent time in Maine developing his game while also being with the Celtics throughout the year. When called up to Boston, Hauser played sparingly in his rookie season, featuring in 26 games for an average of 6.
