After executing some roster moves over the past several days, the Boston Celtics made a relatively minor one Monday by re-signing point guard Tremont Waters to a two-way contract.
The 22-year-old Waters, who was selected by the Celtics as the No. 51 overall pick in the 2019 draft out of LSU, split his time between the Celtics and their G-League affiliate the Maine Red Claws during his rookie season.
Waters did make an impression with both clubs, despite limited action with the Celtics, where he played in 11 games, starting one, while averaging 3.
