The Boston Celtics are waiving forward Jabari Parker, per a report from The Boston Globe’s Adam Himmelsbach:
Parker’s contract was guaranteed for $100,000 and that amount will go on the Celtics cap sheet for the 2021-22 season.
Parker signed with the Celtics late in the 2020-21 season. In 10 regular season games with Boston, Parker averaged 6.4 points on 54.2% shooting. Parker then averaged 8.5 points on 61.9% shooting, as Boston fell to the Brooklyn Nets in the first round of the playoffs.
The Celtics now have 14 players on standard contracts and one Two-Way player.
