After a hot start from the Milwaukee Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo, Boston took things over and cruised to a 124-109 win at TD Garden.
The Greek Freak was feeling it early for the Bucks. And a lackluster defense from Boston didn’t help matters. After Giannis scored 11 points, many uncontested, in the first 4 minutes, Brad Stevens called a quick timeout. Whatever he said he may helped temporarily, but Milwaukee still ended up scoring 35 first quarter points on a blistering 65% shooting. The Freak and Jabari Parker combined for 27 of them. Boston dropped 30 of their own, but would need to turn up the defensive intensity if they wanted to get a win.
