Boston fell to the Cavs on Thursday, 128-122, and yet fans have to be encouraged. Although the Celtics were depleted and trailed for almost the entire game, they fought hard for all 48 minutes. Even better, we got our first good look at the emerging talent of Jaylen Brown.
Jaylen got his first NBA start head-to-head versus none other than LeBron James. With Crowder out, Brad Stevens called on Brown in order to keep Marcus Smart with the second unit, and the rookie wowed everyone with several highlight-reel plays. There was none better than this drive and jam over James himself:
