The Celtics traveled to Minnesota for the second and final time the two teams meet during the regular season tonight. The Timberwolves had two losses in a row, but were the only team without a three game losing streak entering tonight’s game, along with Toronto and Golden State. The Celtics, meanwhile, had won 5 of 6 since returning from the All-Star break.
The rest factor only played a role in the first few minutes of the game, during which the T’Wolves made 70% of their ten shots but could only manage a four point lead. Once the Celtics were like a freight train tonight, it took a little for them to get going but once they did there was no stopping them.
