Recap: Celtics 109, Nets 105

At least that's how it appears after the 6'9 power forward topped the Celtics' box score with 19 points Wednesday night, knocking down eight of his 13 field goal attempts in a 109-105 win over the Nets.

Johnson, acquired on a two-year/$24 million deal this summer, drilled a pair of three-pointers midway through the first quarter, setting the stage for a smooth victory for the C's. They controlled almost all of the first half, taking a nice 11-point advantage into the brake.

It's still just the preseason, but admit it, you're excited.

Turning Point: Following a competitive third period in which the Celtics saw their lead drop to seven, Kelly Olynyk helped put Brooklyn away with a strong start to the fourth.
