Parquet plays: Celtics turn Game 4 into a 3-on-3 tournament

Orlando’s defense is for real.

The Celtics biggest advantage heading into the first round series was their three-point differential. They shot over 48 threes a game in the regular season. However, the Magic gave up the fewest (31.4 3FGA) and through four games, the series has been played on their terms. Boston has only got up 33 threes a game, including just 31 on Sunday evening.

Head coach Jamahl Mosley has opted to stay home on Boston’s shooters and relied on his perimeter defenders to cover Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, and Kristaps Porzingis straight up and they’ve done that with great success.
