INDIANAPOLIS — The Indiana Pacers believe a new look may be their quickest route to an NBA title.
During the team's annual media day Monday, coach Frank Vogel and three players — including two-time All-Star Paul George — acknowledged going small and playing fast could be their best move.
The switch means George also will change positions, going from small forward to more of a stretch power forward. Coming off a major knee injury, George has expressed resistance to the move and he explained Monday his biggest concern is how well his body will hold up against bigger opponents.
