Oshae Brissett signs G-League deal with Long Island Nets

Oshae Brissett who won a championship with the Boston Celtics last season, but then declined his $2.5 player option to seek a larger role with another NBA team has reportedly signed with the Long Island Nets of the G-League. Brissett will suit up and play for Long Island while he continues to wait for another NBA opportunity.

With the trade deadline approaching and buy-out season right after that, Brissett still has some opportunites to get back on an NBA roster this year. He may have to settle for a 10-Day deal to start with. A return to the Celtics remains an option, especially if Brad Stevens is successful in moving Jaden Springer before the trade deadline for luxury tax purposes.
